Understanding Your Value

How Homeowners Find You on LynkServ

The search experience from a homeowner's perspective and what influences your visibility.

Understanding how homeowners experience LynkServ helps you optimize your listing for the right outcomes.

The Search Flow

When a homeowner visits LynkServ, they typically search by service type (such as "plumber") or browse by category. They can filter by city and subcategory. The results they see are sorted by tier first — Featured listings appear at the top of every result, followed by Standard, then Basic. Within each tier, listings are sorted by when they were approved.

What They See

In search results, homeowners see your business name, your tier badge, your star rating (if you have Google reviews), and a preview of your description. They also see your First-Time Offer badge if you have one active. If you have a profile photo, it appears next to your listing.

Clicking Into a Profile

When a homeowner clicks on your listing, they see your full profile: your complete description, contact buttons for phone and website, your subcategories, testimonials (Standard and Featured), your FTCO details, and verification badges if you're licensed and insured.

What the Verification Badges Signal

Providers who submit their license number and are verified display a green Licensed badge. Providers who submit insurance documentation display an Insured badge. These badges appear prominently on your profile and build trust before the homeowner contacts you.

Your Listing as a Landing Page

Think of your LynkServ profile as a lightweight version of your website — one that homeowners can find through both LynkServ's internal search and through Google (more on that in the SEO article). Every element of your profile should be optimized to answer one question: "Why should I call this business instead of the others?"
