Getting More from Your Profile Photo
What makes a profile photo work for your business — and what to avoid.
A profile photo is available to all LynkServ providers. It appears on your listing card in search results and on your full profile page. Used well, it's a significant trust signal. Used poorly, it can actually hurt you.
What Works
The best profile photos for service businesses fall into a few categories:
A professional headshot or team photo. A clear photo of you or your team — in work clothes or branded shirts — immediately tells the homeowner they're dealing with real people. It personalizes the listing and builds trust before a call is made.
A photo of your branded vehicle. If you have a wrapped truck or van with your logo, a clean photo of your vehicle is an effective trust signal. It signals that you're an established business with proper equipment.
Your business logo. A clean logo on a white or brand-colored background works well if you don't have a good photo option yet.
What to Avoid
Avoid low-resolution or blurry images — they suggest a lack of attention to detail. Avoid busy or distracting backgrounds. Avoid group photos where it's unclear who the business owner is. Avoid photos that look heavily filtered or obviously stock.
Technical Requirements
Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP image. Maximum file size is 2MB. The photo is displayed in a square format, so images that are already square (or close to it) look best.
Updating Your Photo
You can update your photo at any time from your dashboard. Seasonal or updated photos keep your profile feeling current. If you get new branded gear, a new vehicle wrap, or simply have a better photo, swap it in.
