How to Complete Your LynkServ Profile
A step-by-step guide to filling out every section of your listing for maximum impact.
Your LynkServ profile is the first thing a homeowner sees when they search for your service. A complete, detailed profile builds trust before they ever call you.
Business Name and Description
Use your real business name — the one on your license, insurance, and Google Business Profile. In the description field, write two to four sentences that answer these questions: What do you do? Where do you serve? What makes you different? Avoid generic phrases like "quality service" and use specific language instead — mention the cities you serve, the types of jobs you specialize in, and how long you've been operating.
Profile Photo
Upload a clear photo of yourself, your team, or your branded vehicle. Profiles with photos get significantly more attention than those without. The photo should be at least 400×400 pixels, well-lit, and professional. A work-in-progress photo or a team shot works well. Avoid blurry selfies or images with cluttered backgrounds.
Contact Information
Make sure your phone number is current and actively answered during business hours. If you use a Google Voice number or answering service, that's fine — just make sure calls are returned promptly. Add your website if you have one; homeowners often visit it before calling.
Subcategories
Select up to three subcategories that best describe your specific services. If you're a plumber, you might select Plumbing, Drain Cleaning, and Water Heater. This helps homeowners looking for your exact specialty find you faster.
Social Links
Standard and Featured providers can add Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn links. Even if your social presence is modest, adding these links signals that you're an established business with a real online footprint.
Once your profile is complete, submit it for review. Most listings are approved within one business day.
