FAQ

Can I List in Multiple Cities?

How multi-city listings work on LynkServ and what the options are for providers who serve a wider area.

LynkServ listings are city-specific. Each listing is tied to one primary city. Here's how to handle a business that serves multiple cities.

How City-Specific Listings Work

When homeowners search LynkServ, they can filter by city. A listing in Salt Lake City will appear to homeowners searching for services in Salt Lake City. It will also appear in broader searches (without a city filter), but not in searches filtered to a different city.

Serving Nearby Cities from a Single Listing

Many providers serve a metro area that spans several cities — Salt Lake City, Draper, Sandy, and Murray, for example. You can communicate this in your business description: "Serving Salt Lake City, Draper, Sandy, and surrounding areas." Homeowners searching without a specific city filter will see your listing, and homeowners in your listed city who read your description will understand that you serve their area too.

Multiple Listings

Providers who want to be discoverable in a specific city other than their primary listing city can create an additional listing for that city. This is not currently self-serve — contact us at hello@lynkserv.com if you'd like to discuss a multi-city setup.

Scarcity Caps Apply Per City

Featured and Standard slots are limited per subcategory per city. A Featured spot in Salt Lake City is separate from a Featured spot in Provo. Holding a Featured listing in one city does not affect your eligibility in another.

What We Recommend

Start with your primary service city. Get your listing well-optimized and build up your testimonials and reviews. Then evaluate whether a second listing makes sense based on how much of your business comes from outside your primary city.
